Commissions, without the chaos.
BrickDocket is the workspace for Roblox creators who take commissions. Price every task, track the work, and hand each client one private page that shows exactly where things stand — and exactly what they owe.
Nothing to install. Your data stays in your browser until you choose to back it up.
Lobby build — Duckpond map
The client page is the product.
Your client never logs into a dashboard. They open one link — usually pasted into a Discord DM — and what they see is the whole impression they get of working with you. So that page wears your name, your colour and your logo, and the preview card under the link shows your project name and your image. Not ours.
One private link each
No account for them, no signup wall. Add a passcode or an expiry date if the work is sensitive, and revoke any link the moment you want it dead.
Worth knowing: the static preview keeps workspace data in this browser. Connect the database described in the deploy notes before sending links to clients on other devices.
Your card under the link
Set the preview image and the text that appears beneath the link when it's pasted in Discord — your commission name, your studio, the balance if you want it there.
Your look, their page
Pick a theme and an accent colour. The client page, the buttons and even the Discord embed stripe follow it. Text contrast is recalculated so nothing turns unreadable.
Every task has a price. The total adds itself up.
There is no box anywhere in BrickDocket where you type a total. That's on purpose — it's what keeps the number your client sees identical to the work you listed.
Price each task
Break the job into tasks and give each one a price. Tick it off when it's done. Your client watches the list fill in.
Mark paid per task
Money arrives in instalments, so payment is tracked per line. Press Mark paid on what's landed; the balance recalculates.
Addons shown, not hidden
Rush fees and extra revision rounds go on as their own lines. A discount or deposit is a negative line, so the client sees the credit too.
Final files gate on payment
Mark a delivery as final and it stays locked on the client page until the balance is cleared. Previews stay visible throughout.
Your payment methods
Add PayPal, Ko-fi, a Stripe link, Cash App or a Robux payout note. BrickDocket never touches the money — it just shows them where to send it.
Robux and USD
Each commission has one currency, so nothing gets silently mixed. Outstanding balances are reported per currency.
Build the page out of blocks.
Build each client page from the sections the project needs, then arrange them in the right order. A quick thumbnail may only need scope and payment, while a longer build can include milestones, files and approvals. Sections can be hidden without deleting their content.
Brief & scope
Keep the agreed scope and requirements in one place.
Tasks & pricing
The priced checklist that drives every total on the page.
Timeline
Set checkpoints so clients can see what is due next.
Files & references
Upload deliverables straight onto the project — 250 MB each, so one big .blend is fine. Or attach a link, which costs nothing.
Approvals & revisions
Request approvals and keep revision rounds visible to both sides.
Private notes
Keep internal notes off the client page.
Try them right now — this page will change.
Whatever you pick applies to your workspace and to every client page you send. Each theme has a light and a dark mode, and all six combinations are contrast-checked so text stays readable.
Use the sun/moon control in the header to flip light and dark.
From "hey, are you open?" to paid.
Log the request
Someone asks for something. Drop it in your requests inbox with the budget they mentioned.
Price the tasks
Accept it and break the job into priced tasks. That list is the quote, and it becomes the tracker.
Send one link
Mint a private link and paste it to them. They see progress, files and the balance — and can approve or ask for changes.
Tick and get paid
Mark tasks done as you go and paid as money lands. Final files unlock themselves when the balance hits zero.
Know the moment something moves.
Point BrickDocket at a Discord webhook and an ntfy topic, then choose which of sixteen events reach which channel. Your client can subscribe to their own topic too, so they hear about updates without you writing a message.
- Rich Discord embeds coloured with your accent, linking straight to the client page.
- Phone pushes through ntfy — free, no account needed.
- A per-event grid, so "client requested changes" can ping your phone while "file shared" stays quiet.
- Everything also lands in an in-app inbox, whether or not the channels are on.
a selection
Nothing. There is no paid tier.
No trial, no card, no feature held back, no "upgrade to unlock". There are limits, because everything is stored in your own browser and browsers cap that — so here they are, in the open.
Straight answers.
Is it really free?
Yes, all of it. There's no server to pay for — the app runs entirely in your browser — so there's nothing for us to bill you for and no paid tier hiding features.
How do my clients see their project?
Create a client link that shows the sections you selected: progress, tasks, prices, files, the balance and approval controls. Clients do not need an account.
Be aware of the current limit. This static preview keeps the workspace in one browser, so a client opening the link on another device will not see the data yet. Connect authenticated database and file storage before public launch; the deploy notes identify the required integration points.
We'd rather tell you that up front than let you send a link that shows your client an empty page.
Can I stop a client seeing something?
Every section has a visibility control. Private notes never appear on the client page, and final files can stay locked until the balance is paid.
Why can't I just type a total?
Because a typed total can drift from the work it's supposed to represent, and the person who loses out is usually the client. Pricing each task keeps the quote and the tracker as the same object. Extra charges are their own visible lines; discounts are negative lines. Everyone sees the same arithmetic.
Does it handle Robux?
Yes — each commission is either USD or Robux, and totals are reported per currency so the two never get mixed into one meaningless number. BrickDocket tracks amounts; the actual payout happens however you already take payment.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Your workspace goes with it. That's the honest cost of having no server. Settings → Account has a one-click backup export; keep one somewhere safe if the work matters.
Can I sign in with Roblox or Discord?
Yes. Google and Discord sign-in are wired through Supabase Auth. Until a project URL and publishable key are added, those buttons stay disabled instead of creating a mock provider account.
Is BrickDocket affiliated with Roblox?
No. It's an independent tool built for the creator community. Every studio, client and project name you see in the examples is invented.
